Writing Ideas to Print

 

Do you want to take your writing to the next level? A weekend retreat designed to educate and inspire blossoming writers will jump-start your creativity and provide hands-on drafting experience. Get inspiration flowing with visualization, collage, story boarding and group storytelling. Try your hand at writing prose, poetry and nonfiction in a series of dynamic exercises. Reading and discussing exemplary poems, short stories and essays will sharpen eyes and ears while group work shopping pulls together feedback from fellow writers. Draw ideas from everyday life, the natural world, art and music. Craft an original piece to be included in a class anthology and learn how to submit work for publication!
