Spotlight: the Digital Circuit

Consider your cell phone, your alarm clock, and even a traffic light that prevents accidents seamlessly on a daily basis. What do these items all have in common? Digital circuit technology! Students in this course will explore the basics of digital circuit design such as logic operations, Boolean algebra, state machines, and circuit construction as well as various digital components. Students will use this knowledge of digital basics to design digital circuits of their own. Digital circuit constructions will include combinational and arithmetic circuits, as well as the design and construction of a traffic light circuit.
